Situated in the heart of the Royal County Meath,and located within walking distance of  the picturesque village of Fordstown, Co.Meath,  Kates Cottage is located midway between Kells (Ceannanas Mor) and Athboy (Baile Atha Bui) and approximately 30miles from Dublin.

Kate`s Cottage is the perfect tranquil setting to welcome  all visitors.

The Cottage has recently undergone a total refurbishment and offers the guest luxury accommodation (2 double bedrooms),suitable to accommodate 2-4 adults or a family of 2 adults and 2/3 children. A cot can be provided if required. 

The Kitchen has been refitted and retiled to a high standard and is equipped with all modern conveniences including cooker, microwave,  large fridge/freezer. The Utility room houses the  washing machine, and a fully tiled bathroom has an electric shower and bath. The heating sytem is oil fired central heating and the Living room has a welcoming  open fire along with a TV / DVD player and outside a spacious garden awaits you with a bar-b-que area.

Within walking distance is Fordstown village which has a mini market shop and post office.

To experience a Traditional Irish Pub why not visit Brays in the village – Live entertainment most weekends and  a complimentary  schuttle bus is provided by Brays to collect and drop you home at the end of the night.

Girley Church is a short drive/walk from the village.
